What accounts for the massive peasant rebellions of 19 th century China? There were many things accounted for the massive peasant rebellions in China during the nineteenth century. The Industrial Revolution Shaped the character of the 19th century through European Imperialism in many ways. During the time of the Industrial Revolution, “The enormous productivity of Industrial Technology and Europe’s growing affluence now created the need for extensive raw materials and agricultural products”(854). 4. How did the Industrial Revolution transform British Society? The Industrial Revolution transformed the British Society by tons of things. During that time there was a rapid growth population in Europe which made it hard for families to get jobs to provide for their loved ones but due to the Industrial Revolution people were able to provide for their families. Not only was it beneficial for families it was also helpful for businessmen, manufacturers, and bankers. "As urban wealth became more important, landed aristocrats had to make way for the up-and-coming businessmen, manufacturers, and bankers, newly enriched by the Industrial Revolution"(813). The Industrial Revolution War was between 1750-1900 The Industrial Revolution started in Western Europe Specifically Great Britain. The growth of humans increased from 375 Million in 1400 to about 1 Billion in the early 19th century. The materials to fuel the Industry Machines are coal, iron, ore, petroleum, guano, and more. The Industrial Revolution marked a new era in both human history and the history of the planet that scientists increasingly call the Anthropocene. In Britain, industrial output rose between 1750-1900 The first form of Technology appeared in the 18th century, during the 18th century. The Great Breakthrough was a coal-fired steam engine, providing an object with sources of wind, water, or muscle. Part 2 of the industrial revolution mainly focused on chemicals, electricity and precision machinery. Between 750 and 1100 C.E, The Islamic's developed shipbuilding, the use of tides, and water to generate power, papermaking, watermills, and more.
