4. How did the Industrial Revolution transform British Society? The Industrial Revolution transformed the British Society by tons of things. During that time there was a rapid growth population in Europe which made it hard for families to get jobs to provide for their loved ones but due to the Industrial Revolution people were able to provide for their families. Not only was it beneficial for families it was also helpful for businessmen, manufacturers, and bankers. Thousands of French Soldiers had provided assistance to the American colonists and returned home full of Republican enthusiasm. King Louis XVI called a session, representing the Estates General. A few weeks later, they drew up the declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen, which declared that "men are born and remain free and equal in rights.
